A funeral service can provide an opportunity to both acknowledge a loss and celebrate a life well lived and loved.

At Rosedale Funerals, our family cares for yours.

We are here to provide guidance and support.

We will work with you and your family, offering you the freedom of choice to personalise the funeral service, always with your needs and budget at the forefront of our minds.

During the initial funeral arrangement meeting, we will assist you to decide on the practical and celebratory aspects of the funeral service for your loved one.

Our compassionate and dedicated staff will endeavour to make the process of organising a funeral as straightforward as possible.

The arrangement meeting will take approximately one to two hours.

Some of the questions we will ask may include:

  • When and where will the Funeral Service be held?
  • Is the Funeral to be a burial or cremation?
  • Would you like a viewing of your loved one?
  • What music would you like to include during the Service?
  • Which photo is to be printed on the Memorial Card or Bookmark?
  • Which photos and music would you like for the Memorial Photo Tribute?
  • Would you like to have the Funeral Service video recorded or live streamed?
  • Are the death and funeral notices to be advertised in the newspaper or online?
  • Will there be a gathering or refreshments following the Service?

Our funeral directors are with you every step of the way, keeping you informed and guiding you through the funeral arrangements as much or as little as you need.

During the funeral arrangement meeting we will record the decisions and choices made to create a detailed estimate of costs and disbursements.

During the days following this meeting, until the funeral service is conducted, we provide ongoing assistance while liaising with the clergy or celebrant, newspapers, florists, cemeteries, churches and any other third parties that might be required in preparation for the funeral service and the staff at Rosedale Funerals will continue to assist you and your family after the funeral has been conducted.

Pre-arranged Funerals and Funeral Bonds

No one wants to think about what will happen after they are gone, but arranging a funeral can be complicated and costly, during what can be a distressing time for your family.

At Rosedale Funerals we believe in ensuring your peace of mind.

When planning ahead there are a number of options to consider, including whether to simply record your funeral wishes, or organise for the entire service in advance.

You can even set aside money in a Funeral Bond, to contribute towards your funeral expenses.

A funeral bond is a safe and effective way to put money aside and accumulate benefits to help meet the future cost of your funeral expenses. It is your money invested in your name, and accrues capital guaranteed interest, that tops up your bond.

Our dedicated staff can help you plan ahead and select an appropriate Funeral Bond investment, designed to give you and your family emotional and financial peace of mind.
