Bec has earnt a trusted reputation as a female funeral director and celebrant and is well known for her genuine care, understanding and commitment to providing meaningful and personalised funeral services, while maintaining a friendly and approachable manner. She believes it is an honour and a privilege to be part of a family’s special journey.
Through her own life experiences, Bec understands the importance of the grieving process and leads her own staff in providing compassion and comfort for those entrusting Rosedale Funerals during a time of uncertainty and stress, upholding moral values and confidentiality.
Bec believes in post-funeral care and is always available for families to speak with in the days, weeks and months that follow, so that she can continue to support them.
Stacy Fiegert
Business Manager
Stacy Fiegert comes to the funeral business with 22 years of experience in management, accounting, and customer care in a well-respected local motor vehicle dealership. Stacy, with his beautiful wife Bec took ownership of Rosedale Funeral company in 2022.
Stacy has been working at Rosedale Funerals for the past 2 years covering a range of roles, including day to day running of the business, finance, and transferring your loved one into our care.
Stacy will work with you and your loved ones with respect, care and understanding.
He strongly believes and appreciates that the employees of Rosedale are the business’s greatest strength and are the key component of the success of this small family owned business.
Stacy, with his caring way, helps lead the Rosedale family through with professionalism, kindness and confidentiality.
Shelby Cooper
Funeral Director
Shelby Cooper has been a member of the Rosedale Family for 3 years, working both in the mortuary and as a funeral assistant and is now earning a reputation for her genuine empathy and compassion as she embraces her new role as funeral director and celebrant.
She is honoured to assist families at a time when they are most vulnerable and prides herself on making the process as simple as possible, providing a safe space with a kind and patient approach.
Shelby sees it as a privilege to be able to support families during one of their most difficult times and believes in post-funeral care as she is always available for families following the funeral service for as long as they need.
Georgia Bignell
With Bec as her Mum, Georgia Bignell has been involved with Rosedale Funerals from a young age but officially joined the Rosedale Family 5 years ago.
Georgia is our admin and IT go to. She takes great care and pride in her role of preparing music and photo tributes, understanding that they are an important part of farewelling a loved one.
As with all female staff, she is trained in mortuary preparation, but you will mostly see her assisting Bec and Shelby at funeral services.
Georgia’s kind and compassionate nature allows her to empathise with grieving families and she feels that helping prepare everything for a funeral service is a very rewarding job.
Emmalie Maywald
Only new to the funeral industry, Emmalie Maywald has a background in counselling, and mental health work, working alongside community members in roles with student exchange and remote outreach programs.
As with all our female staff Emm is trained in mortuary preparation and is learning all aspects of being an assistant funeral director.
Emm is compassionate, loving and understanding, she listens with intent and respect.
Brian Sparrow
Coming to Rosedale Funerals 18 months ago, following 20 years of experience as the team leader at the local cemetery, Brian Sparrow is familiar with the sensitivity required when assisting with bringing your loved one into our care.
Brian also ensures that our vehicles are kept clean and tidy and helps maintain the gardens at the funeral home.
